Mini Tennis 5-10years
We offer a vibrant Mini Tennis programme and offer coaching for this age-group most days of the week. Playing tennis from a young age is the perfect way to develop athletic, social and life skills. Mini tennis uses modified equipment and court size (reduced) along with smaller, slower balls to give our young players the best tennis experience.
Junior Tennis 11-16 years
We have a programme for our 11-16 year olds. We help juniors develop their game so they can play and enjoy the sport through into adulthood. Our junior programme aims to balance technical and tactical skills, competitive and social play as well as giving our juniors the opportunity to gain qualifications and personal rewards from our volunteering and training schemes.
Adult Courses
K S Tennis has a number of adult coaching sessions to suit players of all standards; whether you are a complete beginner or a club player – we have a session for you!
All our sessions are open to members as well as non-members (non-member fees may apply on some courses); rackets can also be provided if required.
Tennis Xpress: If you have never played tennis before, or haven’t played in a long time, then Tennis Xpress is for you. It is an easy and fun way for adult beginners to get into the game.
During the six week course you will be taught new skills and be shown how to serve, rally and score, so that by the end, you will be able to enjoy fun matches with your friends, family or other people you meet.
Rusty Rackets: Following on from Tennis Xpress or for players that have played a little in the past. The course will cover all of the basics, including: racket skills, positioning and playing short matches to enable you to practise your newly-acquired skills!
Improvers Coaching: For those players with reasonable playing experience. The course will help with technical improvements, stroke progression and teach you good basic match play.
Doubles Coaching: Focuses on positioning, tactics and working as an effective team.
Drills Session: The aim of the session is to build up a sweat using structured drills, focusing on different strokes each week. It will combine basket feeding and hitting drills.
